Great service, even when crowded a few days before Christmas. Nice extra touches like a gluten free menu, providing a tray of different breads and spreads and refilling it when you empty one (and providing gluten free chips for my wife). The crab stuffed shrimp and perch were excellent as was the soup and salad. Nice view of the lake.
Our favorite place to go! Service, food, views, everything is outstanding! Raw oysters! My go to! Delicious! Make the call and make the reservation! And get the Dirty martini!

The food is SO good, and their service is phenomenal! This restaurant also does a great job of catering events. I can't wait to return for their king crab legs!
Wonderful service by Ava, who clearly loves her job! We began with house made breads in a basket with whipped herb butter and pate. Crispy plump chicken wings with a hint of heat, served with sauces on the side, amazing house made soup and a crisp yet juicy chicken breast with parm crust. All this wonderful food while overlooking Lake Michigan. I'm sure sunset is very special here. There are a few dining areas and a separate large bar. Pricing for food and wine was reasonable. A solid 9 out of 10! We will be back.
Love the atmosphere in the Cranberry Bog Bar! So quirky and eccentric but unique and relaxing. Reminds us of our local hangout on 30-A in Florida RedBar
Ava was an amazing server. We came here for my parents anniversary and was delighted to be served by her. Food was amazing also. Perch, oysters, steak, and crab legs. We need more servers like Ava!
I tried the stuffed mushrooms, ribs, salad with pepper dressing, potatoes, and minestrone soup. I did not like the bbq sauce but everything else was good.
Why can't I give 10 stars?? Charlie, your team is outstanding!! The level of service, smiles, warm greetings and awesome/delicious food is amazing! I will continue to come back each and every Notre Dame football season as long as I can! Grand Mere is an American classic!!! Best lake perch (besides the lake perch my mother makes)! Thank you for multiple outstanding dinners this year and I look forward to seeing you all again next ND football season! A special shout out to Sally! Sally you are the best!!!
